The days are getting shorter again and the year 2020, which presented every one in the event industry with special challenges in the events industry, is slowly drawing to a close.
But at KLOTZ we don't jump into the cold season without presenting you with our latest developments, such as the KLOTZ D series. A PRO AES Digital cable series for the transmission of analogue AES/EBU audio signals and digital DMX lighting control signals.
Special attention during development was paid to signal transmission over long distances and so the D-series is equipped with our high-quality OmniTRANS mobile AES/EBU (DMX) cables. For the connector we leave the choice to you: original KLOTZ 3-pin XLR connectors or XLR connectors from Neutrik.
With the PRO DMX KLOTZ LX-series we offer a professional solution for the transmission of digital signals with super flexible or even touring-grade cables. What they all have in common, is the outstanding signal quality for which KLOTZ cables have been known for many years. Again, our customers can choose between the KLOTZ 5-pin XLR and a Neutrik version.
PTZ cameras place special demands on a cable. Therefore we have developed the HV2RC5SB1 hybrid bulk cable. Equipped with two video lines as well as a RamCAT5 data line, which can be used to implement a IP connection in addition to POE (Power over Ethernet). It is also ideal for broadcast use and a variety of other applications.
The new, improved KLOTZ Online Shop has now been live for 4 weeks. Some KLOTZ customers have not been able logging in to their account. Today we provide you with an easy solution.

New PRO AES digital audio cable series by KLOTZ

| The new PRO AES digital audio cable series with XLR 3pin connectors is now available!
The professional D-Series from KLOTZ is optimized for long transmission distances of AES/EBU signals and currently consists of the four variants D2, D3, D4 and D5.
For the D-Series we only use high-quality digital cables from our OmniTrans AES/EBU series with 2 x 0.22 mm² (AWG24) cross-section. These cables have an exact characteristic impedance of 110 Ohm and very low crosstalk.
The D2 series is made from the ultra flexible high-end digital cable OT2000 with a very low capacitance of 52pF/m (15pF/ft). The D2 cable is perfectly suited as a flexible, mobile studio cable.
The D-Series variants D3, D4 and D5 consist of the double shielded OmniTrans OT206 cable series. While the D3 and D4 digital cables have a black or blue PVC jacket, the D5 digital cable has a blue, robust PUR jacket and a transparent heat-shrinkable sleeve for self-labelling. The D5 series is ideally suited for the daily hard touring life.
The new KLOTZ D-Series is available both with connectors from Neutrik and with the new XLR 3pin connectors from KLOTZ - of course, as always "made in Germany" with the 6-fold KLOTZ quality control according to ISO 9001:2015.
The new, patented KLOTZ packaging also ensures optimum presentation on the display.

New PRO DMX cable series by KLOTZ

| Today we present the new PRO DMX cable series with XLR 5pin connectors.
The professional LX cable series currently consists of three variants - the flexible high-end LX2 series and the two double shielded supreme series LX3 and LX6. For the LX series we only use high-quality digital cables with an exact characteristic impedance of 110 ohms.
The LX2 is an ultra flexible touring DMX cable made from the high-end digital cable OT2000 with a very low capacitance of 52pF/m (15pF/ft). The unbeatable price-performance ratio of the LX2 (OT2000) makes this universal DMX cable one of our absolute bestsellers. The LX3 uses the double shielded supreme OT206YS cable with an extremely low capacitance of 47pF/m (14pF/ft). The range is rounded off by the LX6 with complete five-fold pin assignment. The double shielded supreme digital cable DC422CY guarantees interference-free data transmission with an ultra low capacitance of only 45pF/m (13pF/ft) by using an AL/PET foil and an additional copper braided shield.
The new KLOTZ LX series is available with connectors from Neutrik as well as with the new XLR 5pin connectors from KLOTZ - of course as always "made in Germany" with the 6-fold KLOTZ quality control according to ISO 9001:2015.

New mobile hybrid cable for PTZ camera and various other applications

| KLOTZ presents the new mobile hybrid cable HV2RC5SB1 available as bulk cable. It contains two video lines of type VD125LPS and one RamCAT 5 wire RC5-SB1X.
Typical applications are PTZ cameras with HD-SDI 1.5Gb/s, 2SI or UHD 12 Gb/s output and Black Burst or Tri-level Sync input, as well as control over IP with power over POE (Power over Ethernet).
Of course, our hybrid cable can also be used for many other applications, such as in broadcasting for the connection of monitoring and commentator stations at sporting events or mobile connections between OB vans.
With our proven CATLink modules, in addition to two analog or digital video signals, a four-channel connection for analog or AES audio can be implemented easily. There are no limits to creativity, even the transmission of DMX signals can be realized with the appropriate CATLink modules.
With HD-SDI 1.5 Gb/s signals according to SMPTE292 up to 100 meters and with UHD signals 12 Gb/s signals according to SMPTE 2082-1 up to 60 meters can be realized.
This is achieved by the extremely solid construction of the VD125LPS with double tinned copper braiding (over 95% coverage!) for optimum shielding and very low attenuation, thus fulfilling important attributes corresponding to today's requirements.
The RamCAT5 solid RC5-SB1X plays at the highest level. The four stranded pairs are stabilized with a PE-cross, coordinated lay lengths result in brilliant crosstalk behavior. With a double shielding (braiding and foil) almost nothing can disturb from the outer side.
The HV2RC5SB1 overall cable continues the consistent high-quality course of the individual cables contained in it with stranding threads and foil shielding and, with its robust PVC jacket, also shows itself from its best side mechanically and at operating temperatures from -20°C to +70°C.
